Birth of William Frederick Gibbons Billy Gibbons as William Frederick Gibbons is a US-guitarist's American blues and singer who was known mainly by the band ZZ Top. Billy Gibbons grew up in an affluent household in which both classical and country music was heard. About an appearance by Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan Show, he discovered the rock 'n' roll for themselves. This preference was reinforced by other rock 'n' roll musicians like Little Richard, but also by the blues singer Jimmy Reed.
In the second trimester of 1960, he joined in as guitarist for the rock band "The coachmen, were inspired by bands like Jefferson Airplane and The 13th Floor Elevators, but also of Jimi Hendrix. From "The CoachMe" was the band Moving Sidewalks. Moving Sidewalks was a psychedelic and rock band Blue, which appeared as a support act when Hendrix first American tour. Hendrix was one of the first promoters of Gibbons for the U.S. coastal areas. |

Birth of Alan Freed Alan Freed,also known as Moondog born 15 December 1922 at Johnstown in Pennsylvania and died on 20January 1965 in Palm Springs in California, is a disc jockey radio that played a major role in promoting rock 'n' roll and rhythm and blues in the 1950s.
Alan Freed began his career as a radio sports commentator WKST to New Castle in Pennsylvania, then became program director at WKBN in Youngstown in the Ohio, then WIBE in Philadelphia. Alan Freed was the first DJ White has strong support of black artists playing the "devil's music". The big station in New York is a golden bridge to Alan Freed in 1954. Freed then runs its programs live from the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn. Freed then passes at WABC. |
